Wolfvision's Cynap is a bring-your-own-device system that allows you to share your class materials from a variety of sources. This enables you to quickly switch from showing your laptop, document camera, smartphone, onboard web browser or show up to 4 sources simultaneously.
Connecting a laptop wirelessly
On a MacBook
- Select the Control Center icon on your Menu Bar.
- Select the Screen Mirroring icon.
- Select the Cynap for your room.
- Enter the pin code for the Cynap in your room. This 4-digit code will appear at the top of the Cynap screen.
On a windows laptop
- Use the Windows Key and the K Key to access the Cast Menu.
- Select the Cynap for your room.
- Enter the pin code for the Cynap in your room. This 4-digit code will appear at the top of the Cynap screen.
On an iPhone or iPad
- Depending on the age of your device, you will either swipe up from the bottom or swipe down from the top right to bring up the Control Center.
- Under the Control Center, choose Screen Mirroring.
Then, choose the Cynap for your room from the list.
On an Android phone or tablet
This experience will vary slightly with different Android phone vendors.
- Swipe down from the top of your screen. Look for the Screen Cast button and select it.
- Select your room’s Cynap from the list.
- You will get a Sensitive info warning. Read it and select Start Show.
You are now casting your Android device.
