How do I download my Zoom cloud recordings and upload them to OneDrive?
- Log into Zoom by clicking here.
- Click Sign in and enter your credentials.
- View your recordings by clicking Recordings on the left hand side.
- At the top of the page you choose Cloud Recordings section, click the check box of the video you want to download.
- Check the box next to the recording you want to download and then click the 3 dots on the right.
- You will get a drop down menu to choose download or delete.
- Click the download button.
- Your recording will be downloaded to your default downloads folder.
- You can now click the up arrow to Show in folder to see where your file has been saved.
- Log into your OneDrive with your email address here.
- Drag and drop files into your OneDrive from your computer.

- Log into Zoom by clicking here.
- On your online Zoom account (at zoom.us), click Recordings.
- Click the recording you would like to download. We'll download Monday greeting.
- Your session may have several items to download, such as a video of the shared screen with speaker view, the audio recording, a transcript of the audio, and a chat file with all the written comments. Let's download the video. Click the Download icon.
- With the video downloaded to your computer, let's go into Canvas to upload the recording to the Studio platform.
- Click the Studio icon from the global navigation menu.
- Click Add media.
- Click Browse Files and search for the file you saved on your computer.
- To share your video in an email or message, click the video's kabob icon.
- Click Share Media
- We'll need to create a share link. Click the Links tab.
- Click Create Public Link.
- This will generate a shareable link that you can copy and send to people.
- Click Done
- You can embed Studio videos in a Canvas course on discussions, assignments, announcements, or regular Canvas pages. Click the Studio icon in the Rich Content Editor.
- Select the video you want to embed from your Studio library.
- Enable the options you would like and click Embed.
- Scroll down and click Save or Save & Publish
- That's it! Those are the steps to downloaded your recorded session from the Zoom cloud to your computer, and upload it into Canvas Studio.
