How do I remove a saved email address from Outlook's autocomplete list?
Outlook saves previously used email addresses and suggests them when you start typing in the To, Cc, or Bcc fields. If an incorrect or outdated address shows up, you can remove it with the steps below.
- Open a new email in Outlook.
- Begin typing the name or address you want to remove.
- When the suggestion appears, hover over it with your mouse (do not click).
- Click the X next to the suggestion, or press Delete on your keyboard. This applies to both Classic and New Outlook.
Note: This will remove the entry from future autocomplete suggestions.
