The “Incorrect Verification code” error can occur for a couple of reasons:
1. Browser Auto-Filling the Verification Code Field
After registering for a portal account, a verification code is sent to the email address you provided. Some browsers may mistakenly auto-fill the verification code field with your email address.
If this happens:
- Delete the email address from the first field.
- Enter the correct verification code.
- Then, create and confirm your new password in the next two fields.
2. Multiple Verification Codes Requested
If multiple codes were requested, the system may still be processing the most recent one.
Entering an older code while a newer one is still being generated can cause this error.
To resolve this:
- Wait a moment for the portal to finish processing the latest request.
- Use the most recent code sent to your email.
