Focused Inbox is an Outlook feature that automatically sorts your email into two tabs: Focused and Other. The Focused tab contains emails the service considers essential based on your interactions and patterns, while the Other tab contains everything else.
If you want to remove the Focused Inbox feature in Outlook, you can disable it by following these steps:
-
Open Outlook: Go to your Outlook account using a web browser.
-
Go to Settings: In the Outlook web app, click the settings gear icon in the top right corner and select "View all Outlook settings" at the bottom of the settings panel.
-
Navigate to the Focused Inbox setting: In the settings menu, find and click on "Mail".
-
Disable Focused Inbox: Look for the Focused Inbox option and toggle it off.
-
Save changes: Remember to save your changes before closing the settings menu.
After you disable the Focused Inbox feature, your emails will no longer be sorted into Focused and Other tabs, and all emails will appear in your main inbox
